What data we collect

When you use our contact form, we collect the information you provide — such as your name, email address, phone number, travel dates, group size, ski level and any details about your request. We use this data only to respond to your request, arrange and manage your booking, and communicate with you about your stay. We keep this data only for as long as necessary to handle your request and fulfil any legal obligations (for example, invoicing records).

Cookies

When you first visit our site, a banner asks for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set. If you decline, the rest of the site works exactly the same. If you accept, the following may be set:

• Google Analytics (Measurement ID G-XCMSBNE3DB) — helps us understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type). We use IP anonymisation. Data is processed by Google and may be retained for up to 14 months.
• Facebook — used to display the Facebook feed on our homepage. Meta may set its own cookies when this feed loads, under Meta’s own privacy policy.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser’s cookies for this site, which will show the banner again on your next visit.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Who receives your data

Your data is only used by Val d’Isère Ski Instructors and, for the cookies above, by Google and Meta as described. Where these providers process data outside the European Union, they do so under the safeguards required by GDPR (such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).
