International Powder Trips
Beyond the Alps, in partnership with Powder We Go.
Some of the best snow in the world isn't in the Alps. In partnership with Powder We Go — run by Boris, a friend and long-time collaborator who is also one of our own off-piste instructors here in Val d'Isère — we organize international ski and snowboard trips to destinations chosen for their snow, not their name recognition: Japan, Chile, Norway, Iceland and Spitsbergen among them.
Every trip is led personally by Boris, joined by other guides who bring deep, specific knowledge of that particular terrain — rather than an instructor matched to you individually as with our usual bookings. For a place like Japan or Spitzberg, what matters most is a team that already knows that terrain and that season intimately, and that’s who’s there on every trip.
Each trip is also built around its destination’s best season: Japanese powder in January, the reversed Southern Hemisphere season in Chile, and the Arctic light and terrain of Norway, Iceland and Spitzberg outside the usual Alpine calendar.
